The SAC was THE place to be yesterday. A flight report from one who was there:
Set up and ready to go by 2pm. Skies were mostly cloudy with some blue holes. Joe was already 500' over after a nice low save outa the west landing field. Launching into STFI around 10 and just heading to the west workin up in light pockets of lift got you on top of the ridge. The day triggered with the help of some sun, thermals were plentiful and smooth, and the l/z was kind. Gains of 1700' were limited by smooth wide spread lift and a quickly approaching cloudbase.Times of 1.5hrs were had.
