It's definitely gonna be a great Bill's Hill weekend. Why????

Because whenever we travel abroad over labor day weekend for Karen's birthday, it's always a great Bill's Hill Weekend. And this year we plan to be in Scotland over the weekend for Karen's birthday.

So, have a great time at Bill's!

Matthew
PS No one has been there since Memorial Day weekend. So it's probably gonna be an overgrown mess. Bring your implements of destruction. Shouldn't take too long (if everyone pitches in.... and I mean EVERYONE who shows up to fly there!!!) to clear the slot--- maybe about 30-45 minutes per person.... if everyone pitches in!

its almost 7pm and laszlo landed after 5h flying and at least 3 toplandings. He knows the ridge now better then everybody else! It got pretty magic and conditions were very good all day long. I lauched at 12:30pm and with a still low base left the area. Max 4500ftasl well in the cloud. I landed west of I99. Too much cloudcover at the end. One day we will hit Pittsburgh.

Ugh! I can't belive more pilots didn't go to Bill's. I give you great East winds by going away over Labor Day weekend and still you dont' go to Bill's and you go somewhere else.

Unbelievable!!!

At least Tom and Lazlo had enough good sense to listen to me.

Nice, Tom!

Quickly checked on Google Earth and was still able to locate Bills Hill launch: it must be around 60-70km (40 miles) you made. Congratulations!

For my flying, check out: http://www.hikr.org/tour/post15891.html (in German, but you can always use an online translator...)

Cheers, Marcel
