US World Team needs help

Greetings Capital Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association,

As you may be aware, the 2009 HG World championship is this June in Laragne, France. The US National Team is comprised of Dustin Martin, Jeff O'Brien, Jeff Shapiro, and Davis Straub (and perhaps Zac Majors) and is an actual team that flies well together and is willing to help each other to achieve the goal of a strong team result. This hasn't been the case since the glory days of the team at the Worlds in the Owens. Please take a moment to read the attached team profile.

It is a costly endeavor to make it on to the US Team and even more so to go to the World Championship (airline tickets, renting a retrieval van, fuel, accommodations, etc). The team is economizing as much as possible by flying discount airlines, sharing retrieve and room costs but they still need financial assistance and are looking for support from fellow pilots who like the idea of the US being represented at the World Championship. We know money is tight at the moment, but our team’s needs are relatively modest and your contribution will make a big difference to your team. Contributions in any amount are welcome and very much appreciated and go entirely to subsidize their participation in the World Championship. To help the US Team:
