Smithsburg 12/5

Post by XCanytime »

Had the afternoon off so I contacted Shawn Ray and Eddie and arranged to meet up with them at Smithsburg in the afternoon. Got to the hill at 2:30P to find Shawn and Mike Lee already set up and flying. The hill is in excellent shape. Put in the customary 6 windsocks with the Hall ASI at the top showing a nice 5 to 10 MPH that varied from WNW to NNW. Set up and got in 3 nice flights. The air was as smooth as I have ever experienced at Smithsburg. Shawn and Mike got in 5 flights each. Eddie showed up after 4P with his RC plane and flew for 36 minutes in light lift, with the plane never touching the ground. Here are a few pics of the fun afternoon. Bacil
