Seems I'm always wrong on these weather things, but the USAIRNET site shows that Daniel's is a possibility tomorrow. Other thoughts?

Re: Daniels Sunday?
Ellis, Jim K., Thomas and I flew Dickey Ridge on Sunday afternoon, along with 3 hang gliders. Conditions were great, especially starting mid afternoon. This was my first Dickey's launch after visiting there several times before that for one reason or another never worked out. It was worth the wait.
Ellis launched first and logged over 3 hours. After watching her launch - went out and almost straight up - a spectating hiker exclaimed "I want to do that!".
Jim launched second and logged ~2 hours. I launched third and fell out (after a fun save) after just over 30 minutes. Thomas arrived and launched late (after the hang gliders) and was still in the air when I left, so I don't know how he faired.
When I drove Jim back up to launch to get his car it was fun to see 2 paragliders and 3 hang gliders just floating over the ridge over Skyline Drive. Lots of spectators gawking from the road and the pull outs. Colors were nice, but I think the peak is still a week or three away.
Oh -- just after we arrived and were readying to walk up to launch a ranger stopped and checked our permits, which we all thankfully had with us. She was very pleasant and indicated a desire to learn to fly -- Jim gave her his contact information.
I believe that others went to Daniels -- any reports?
