Kay and I are in Kitty Hawk for a week of R&R. Yesterday I left her ensconced in the condo with the XBox and drove down to Kitty Hawk Kites HG school. Bruce rented me a Falcon 2, and I played for a few hours on the dunes. 4 or 5 flights on the low flat hill where beginner classes were under way. Then a long hike up the big dune for one really nice sled. Just tired enough not to do the big dune carry again, I called it a day about 4:00. Fun day.
Darn it - the AT at Currituck is only open weekends until full tourist season in a few weeks. Oh, well, maybe Saturday on the way home.
Today is designated for walking on the beach.
