Ellis' cheerleading led me, Noah, Laszlo, Carl, and Pascal astray on a beautiful Friday afternoon. Ellis observed P2 Ron, who has flown in Washington state, New Zealand , and Nepal. Dave from New York State and Erik were setting up hang-gliders when we arrived. Noah launched first and reported somewhat strong ups and downs, but these must have mellowed by the time I got up. Noah, Ron, Laszlo, Ellis and I flew formation in the nice consistent thermals (I got 1:20, 450 over). Carl had to finish the school day and by the time he and Pascal were set up, it had overdeveloped and they wisely refused launch. We all ate at Sal's Italian place in Stanardville and looked at pictures from Carl and Pascal's flying trip to Guatemala in February. - Hugh
