Smithsburg

Had a fairly good class with 7 students at Smithsburg on Sunday. Wind was mostly straight in with occasional cross from the NNW and 5 - 10 mph though getting stronger after 3:00 PM. The landing area has been plowed which isn't the best for landing on wheels since they wont roll much but no real incidents because of it. I had only 1 first timer and she did OK with the difficult landing field conditions. My guess is they will be planting soon.
