flying tomorrow thursday

Post by Dan T »

I tentatively have tomorrow off. I'm thinking of flying Ridgely. The last forecast I saw was NE at about 7 mph. I think Bruce Engan might be interested. Is anyone else?

Is anyone else?

I'm going to be there... new glider I hope as long as Sunny doesn't destroy it trying to get it set up for me.
Heather may or may not be there too.... Looks like a nice day, maybe even a good day.

I didn't make it out to Ridgely. It was sure a nice day though. How was it there?

Steve K., Christian T., John S.,some tandem students, and I were at Ridgely yesterday, when John flew his new Aeros Combat for the first time. Unfortunately, he had an accident on landing and broke his left humerus and right wrist. He may have clipped one of the signs ("ramp") and the glider nosed in. Steve went to the emergency room in Annapolis and Joe Gregor got an update from John this evening. He is doing fine and his prognosis is excellent.

Very sorry to hear about John's accident, that sucks big time, esp. at the start
of a season :|

John, been-there done-that on the radius/ulna, so if you want some
feedback on PT for that part of things, please give me a call!

Heal well and fast!

PS: I think Heather's got a driver for a few
