Last Weekend 29/30 March

Post by LE Herrick »

Greetings All;

Been wondering who and where people flew last weekend???? Ben and I flew Spruce on Saturday. We were the only pilots there and used the truch mounted motorcycle as a turn around / retrival vehicle. We parked the cycle at the Bennet's farm and drove up to launch. Although the road is now paved for over half of the way - it is still a long turn around.

When we arrived on launch the winds looked great, but a bit moreto the north that we expected. In any event, Ben launched first and boated aroundthe observation tower for a while beforegettingcaught out and ending up in the LZ. I was able to run a bit more conservative line and managed to top land.

God to be backin the air.

Josef flew Bill's Hill, but it was a rowdy sledder, so the rest of us were not encouraged to even pull our wings out of the bags.
Rest of us: Juan with two tandems, Stan, Susanna, Juri and I. Lots of support personnel. :-) Film crew, family members...
Too bad.

Well, they came to film Juan and make a documentary on paragliding. But that's all I dared to get out of them. Everytime I approached them, they stuck a big camera in my face, so I learned to keep my distance...
