Hi Guys,
Not looking for any sympathy from the frozen north but thought I'd put a little perspective on how crappy March has been down here. In January and February (months not typically considered good flying months) I had 26 flights and logged 26.1 hours and 140.3 XC miles. The last couple of years when I have been here in February, I have been told that it's really a shame I had to leave for Virginia cause it REALLY starts getting good in March. Well, so far in March I have logged 3 flights with a whopping 1.2 hours and no XC. There was one other day I could have flown but didn't. On that day, Lauren and Kevin did pretty well but several others bombed out. I feel VERY sorry for the rather large number of pilots who have spent their hard earned vacation time and money here and have had virtually NO flying. I guess you pays your money and you takes your chances.
It is raining now and the forecast looks questionable for the next several days. Looks like it might improve by next Tuesday or so. Everyone is now saying that April and May are the REALLY good months here. Oh Sure!!!!!

March continues to SUCK!!!
