Speaking of Team Challenge...
The Treetoppers have decided it's time to redo the world-famous radial ramp--spurred on in large part by a generous offer of a matching grant by Jim Lamb of AIR atos fame. The club is hoping to get the project done well in advance of the Team Challenge--but it's going to be a huge undertaking requiring big bucks.
So the club is actively seeking donations from wherever they can get them--a $100.00 gets your name immortalized on some kind of plaque. Alternatively, if you can't spring for that much (yes, times are tight) I suggest joining the treetoppers, which will save you some on entry fees for events like the Team Challenge and gain access to some of the best club sites in America. Annual dues are $60.00--I suggest writing a check for $100.00 and noting on it that the extra money is to go to the ramp fund. You can download member info at http://www.treetoppers.org/.
