Rich's radial nerve coming back!!

Post by huddlec »

This past weekend, Rich found that he could move his right hand. Before it hung down due to the damaged radial nerve from his broken arm (landing at Dinosaur on Labor Day). He's now able to lift it up about an inch. Doesn't sound like much, but it's a big deal since it means the nerve is healing. Huzzuh huzzuh. He's a happy boy.

That is REALLY great news, Christy! Tell Rich that we're sending good karma his way.

Ditto. I also had nerve damage from a broken Humerus (from an HG landing accident in '89). Please tell Rich he is in my thoughts.

I too am a member of the Broken Humerous Pound-In Comedy Club--glad Rich is on the mend back. BTW--I became a Comfrey tea addict--seemed to help a bit in my opinion.

Just came from seeing "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly", about the French man who suffered total paralysis of everything but his left eyelid - and wrote the book by having his assistant recite the alphabet until he blinked on a letter, and then another letter... Before he died he was starting to get a little movement of his tongue... All this by way of saying that you do have to celebrate small victories in healing. Congratulations Rich! - Hugh

Jeez, didn't realize there was still such a mountain to climb. Gotta assume you're reading this Rich...so keep flipping that finger and dreaming of arm-wrestling Christie 'till her eyes spin and she begs for mercy. The happy day will come.

(Jes' kiddin', we all know she's a sweetie-pie).

I didn't know Rich had gotten that hurt. I'm sorry to hear it and glad to hear he's on the mend.
Rich get well soon and meet me for breakfast at that little cafe outside Ridgely that we like.
My treat.
