After one of the best Decembers ever, we're starting off the new year pretty well, too. Last week the winds blew and the temps dropped to nightime lows in the 20's but we had a nice warm up the last couple of days and yesterday was sweet! Lauren led the charge at about 1:45 into a mostly blue sky and had to struggle a bit but we all followed and by 2:00 the Q's were starting to pop. I think most of us had 1:30 or more. (Lauren got 1:40 and landed only cause she had to pee.) Temps on the ground were in the mid to high 70's and CB, which most of us saw at least once or twice, was around 3,700'. 10 or 12 flew with Mitch Shipley arriving late and then staying up long after the rest of us had landed just to show off. (The Rat Bastard!) I'm still lovin' my Combat.
Come on down!!!!
