Smithsburg on 12/29

Turned out to be a good day there though a bit breezy (8 - 12+ mph) mid afternoon. During the windier time we just stayed lower on the hill. Conditions were ideal early (till 12:30) and later (after 3:30). Had 5 students and all did good. Suprised no other hg & pg pilots came. Hope we get some more days this winter there.

What was the mud index? - Hugh

Mostly low crop and crop remains in the LZ so mud was not a problem. In areas where crop remains are there is some dirt between the cuttings but was fairly dry. Hill it self is fine.
