I arrived at National last night around 9:15 in the evening in a 737-800. It was a rodeo ride all the way in - I congratulated the pilot for getting it on the ground. The flight from Seattle took over an hour less than the westbound flight... - Hugh

My colleague's boyfriend flies the big jets for a niche airline. He was uttering the expletives while he was landing yesterday at JFK. They lost altitude so fast due to wind shear, the computerized voice couldn't keep up. But don't worry, it's all safe.
