Marco-Marco--where are you? I'm curious if you still think GW will go down as the greatest president we ever had! Homer Simpson would have done better, I think.

Re: Best Administration in history!
You could choose any real, fictional, or animated character and they would have done a better job than Dubya, but since he was elected (more or less) by the U.S voters (twice), I think we deserve what we get.Flying Lobster wrote:Marco-Marco--where are you? well . . . except that it can be argued (and has been rather convincingly IMHO) that even those who "elected" him (for their own various and sundry reasons) didn't get what they voted for (!)
uhmm, then again, maybe 'they' just didn't appreciate the implicit dangers of What they voted for - in which case i'd still argue that Nobody deserves the destructiveness that he and his have wrought!
(keep in mind, that one can't have a 'good time' argueing unless Someone . . . well, you know - argues back )
not that i'm referring to any infamous arguements that have taken place in the recent past or are destined to take place in the future. . . cause, you know, that would be considered an 'oblique' reference' and could be confusing, consternating, muddying and well . . . let me just stop while i'm still being totally clear and concise

Haven't visited the General Discussion forum in quite awhile.
OK, just to humor you guys, I'll pretend to be Marco so you can beat up on him.
To the tune of "Everything is Beautiful...":
"The economy is booming aloooong!
And the surge is workiiiing!
Global warming is gooood for golf (in the winter!)
But the terrorists are lurkiiiing!
Birth defects are beautifuuuul!
In their o-own wa-aaay..."
Gee, I hope Rance didn't abscond with the Chris McKee Memorial Pulse 'cause he was sore after the verbal drubbing I gave him in this zone a couple years back. Something about "sons of the south"...
C'mon, Rance, give it back. You are my brother pilot; it's just your politics I disagree with.
