Hang Gliding Article in Wash Times

Post by stevek »

Guy named Ed Turner who is writing something for the Wash Times weekend section (or something like that) ended up with me by default -- everybody cool was out of town. Anyhow, he interviewed me and now wants to go see some flying. But I am leaving for the beach tomorrow. I gave Ed directions to Ridgely as I thought that was the most likely spot for him to find people but I think it would be nice if someone gave him a call to make sure it is going to be flyable and to escort him around. His number is 703 750 1808.

Wash Times Article

I've been dealing with this guy for the last couple of weeks. He has interviewed several people in the club already, not just you Steve. The photographers were suppoesd to go out to Ridgley on Saturday but alledgely had car problems and didn't make it. The Wash Times photographers are horrid. They are either extremely late of just plain don't show up. So if anyone decides to help out for photos, keep this in mind.
