Today was pretty stinkin unreal up there. Visibilty was crazy good. Lift was strong and solid. Drift was an XC pilot's dream.
We towed mostly tandems today. So when a yellow and black topless landed at the end of the day... "hey, who's that?" I didn't recall him going up. Maybe he came from Massey? But why stop here?... you could make it nearly on glide from there today. That looks like Larry.
Ha! I can't wait for this story!
He took off from the Sac!
Congratulations on the great flight. I am suitably jealous! I hope you write it up when you get a moment. Dave Proctor too, who I believe had a Region 9 personal best.
I am green, green, green! What a flight! And congratulations, Dave.
Lauren
PS: If you guys keep talking dirty about flying like this all the time, Paul and will have to come back
Its okay to recycle Lauren ... I just don't get what it has to do with hang gliding. Maybe you should take writing lessons from Tad, I think hes advocating using weak links or something......
