Tom Ceunen, Juanito, Stephane, Laszlo, Carl and Jeff Eggers. Tom called as I was inbound to warn me that Woodstock was NOT working and we were shifting to Dickie's. Took the scenic route over the back on Woodstock Firetower Road to Fort Valley Road to Fish Hatchery Road. It was very light with launchable cycles. A day-hiking couple stayed to watch. Tom and Juan got up for longish flights; Laszlo and Jeff scratched for quite awhile mostly below launch. This was my first launch from Dickie's (thanks, Stephane, for you advice and assistance!). After one abort, I had a good clean launch for an extendo as the lift seemed to die for everyone. It was fun making a couple of passes over Skyline Drive as the weekend motorcycle and car traffic slowed to gawk. Executed a perfect face-plant on landing. After we all packed up and walked out to the road through the sheep ranch, an off-duty sheriff's deputy who used to fly ultralites took us all the way back to our vehicles in his pickup.
