Just wanted to thank the club for letting Lauren and I use the club gliders to play down here at the dunes in KH. We were rained out yesterday but had great fun today getting in three rounds of competition. I got lucky on my first flight getting all the "cones" and landing in the target on the second ring putting me in a tie for third. Unfortunayely my beginners luck didn't last and I am well down the list after my next two flights which didn't go as well.
It's been a real eye opener watching some of these "dune goons" perform. They have flying skills that are amazing! Very different from the competitions that I know!
Not certain about the scoring but I think that Bo Hagewood is leading after the first day. We'll see if he can keep it going.
