Pulpit 4/14

Post by hepcat1989 »

As far as I know, Bacil and I are going to try the Pulpit in the AM. I'm seeing WNW@8-10. I'll be there early 7:30.May actually be some ridge lift.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Just getting home and putting my toys away...Let's see I got to the Pulpit around 7:30 and started setting up . It was blowing straight in@10-13.
Bacil arrived around 8. He helped me off from the old ramp and I managed to scratch and claw for a 30 min. flight. Good approach and landing in the secondary. Packed up real quick and headed back up. I set up again and he helped me off the old ramp for a second go. All I could muster was an extendo for a 10min flight the second time. It was dying off. Good approach, good landing in the secondary. I think from now on I will strictly try and land in the secondary. It's a little tighter and an easy retrieval.
Thanks Bacil, I owe you man.......
I had fun this morning!
Peace, Shawn.
