Hangsters--
Who can help me out? I have a large (12 or 13 inch) PVC tube which I've used to ship a trike wing, and currently sheltering a HG wing. But I bought it in Guatemala, and wonder where is a local place to buy caps/ lids for the ends ? (I previously fashioned wooden inserts to use for shipping, but they fit on the inside and rob me of the full 20 ft. length, so i want to replace.)
Anyone suggest where I can busy these? (esp, NoVA, or MD) And any observations on the tech aspects of installing same? Thanks for any advice.

Re: Cap for PVC Pipe
Call
J & H Aitcheson http://www.aitcheson.com
100 S Dove St, Alexandria, 22314 - (703) 548-7600
to see if they have the right size. I bought my 12" i.d. pipe from them, but did not buy rigid caps.
Instead, since I use the pipe for static storage only instead of travel, I use flexible PVC sheeting (also from Aitcheson) and a bungee to hold it on. Less expensive and easier to deal with than the end caps. The seal against moisture and critters is great.
To get to Aitcheson, head east on Duke St (Rte 236), and Dove is parallel to Duke right next to the Masonic Memorial. You can see the shop. Turn right at the light near the post office. Also, coming from Vienna, don't take 236 from the Beltway. Come around the Beltway to Telegraph Rd. Take Telegraph north and then Duke (236) east. Aitcheson is just a block or two from there, on your right.

back on PVC tubes and end caps
Cragin and gtutor--
Thanks indeed for your replies. Cragin, if you don't mind, I'll give you a call. Not quite sure what you mean by flexible sheeting instead of end caps. But one way or the other, the J&H Aitcheson looks find-able.
