the new monthly Skyline party

Purpose: to get a kick-ass newsletter out
When: first nonflyable Saturday of each month at 3:00 pm until whenever (if all Saturdays are flyable, then on the last Saturday, regardless of flyable or not)
Where: Skyline editor house in Arlington
Will there be food? Yes. Chili in the winter, BBQ in the summer.
Will there be drink? Hmmm.... gin and tonic, apfelkorn, water, country time lemonade, otherwise BYOB.
What to bring: yourself and whoever else wants to help with the newsletter, even non flyers. We can use any help. If you don't think that's enough, you can bring snacks, desserts, beverages, ideas, wood for the fireplace, your favorite music and flying photos! Maybe you also want to bring your laptop and/or a lapdesk.
RSVP? would be nice, so I can have an idea of how many people I need to make chili for. But if you don't know you're coming until the last minute, your presence will still be VERY appreciated!

Why? Cause I've been made the new editor of the Skyline and it's lonely to do it all by myself. It'd be much more fun to do with friends. We can listen to music, munch, kick ideas around, get some work done. I could use help with all kinds of stuff, like newsletter layout, writing articles, research, interviewing, phone calls, assembling information, making pizza runs Wink, making, accepting assignments, finding addresses, drawing pictures, fiddling with photos, whatever. If you want to help but don't know what to help with, I'm sure we can find something to do. Also keep in mind, that we're a non profit organization and if you know some teenager who needs to pad his/her resume for college with volunteer work, send her/him on! Smile
