Very pleasant day at OR today. John M was there with 3 or 4 students. The field was peppered with all manner of windsocks and streamers (thanks John!) Linda B. showed with her trusty Falcon. Direction were generally 45 to 60 degrees cross from the right at 0 to 5; a very favorable condition for the chute launch! John's students all did well, Linda had a few flights all with strong launches and she nailed each of her landings. A PG guy was also there and took a number of flights. I took 3 enjoyable flights; need to get that Harrier into the mountains! There was someone in the air almost every time you looked. Lots of wuffos milling around amazed at the flying.
Really good day to goof-off at OR.

Oregon Ridge side trip - O.T.
For the culture vultures: side trip on the way back to DC - the newly renovated Basilica of Baltimore in downtown. A Benjamin Latrobe building - really neat, and very clean neo-classical - no frills (except the pink and blue flowers.... If you can get past the pink and blue color scheme, the domes are great, but the basement is the real treat. Aewsome reverse arches! -Linda
