Had a short but sweet soaring flight yesterday with Mitch Shipley and another friend, Jason. Conditions were clear, cool and a bit windy from the north but we managed to eak out 40 minutes or so. Not bad for this time of year. Of course, Mitch managed to get 6 minutes more air time and 500 feet more altitude. I always tell him it's just wing loading. Still, it's amazing how someone who is fitter, stronger, lighter and more skilled can seem to kick your butt every time you fly with them! At least I did better than Jason.

The T2 is flying great thanks to long distance tuning help from Kevin C. and I am enjoying getting my weight shift skills back after focussing on sail planes for the last few months. Landings have been excellent (also thanks to Kevin's lessons last year). It's really interesting how easy it can be once you really understand the method and focus your attention during your landing.

Hope to see some of you guys this winter.
