testing embedded image

I tried this on the FiFi forum and it didn't work. Let's see if it works here. If it doesn't, maybe someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I know that Scott had success doing this, with that
image of 'alpine carving' over in the
Gen Disc forum . Maybe send him a PM to ask how
he did it?

Interesting... Today the image doesn't show up and previously it did.
I think that maybe webshots moves the images around and the address changes so it works for the day but then doesn't anymore.
I.e. it is probably not a forum problem.

Ah, yup, if the URL over at webshots isn't stable, then you
don't have a prayer.

In fact, that's probably how they 'force' people to use the
webshots website directly, and hence have to see all the
adverts.

Solution would be to link to an image that has an unchanging
URL, eg, a website of your own.

We may be able to offer use of the CHGPA website for something
like this, but it won't happen soon. Have to first see what the
impact of these forums is on our web hosting plan (bandwidth
and space).
