Highland

Post by Ashley Groves »

I am thinking of going to Highland this weekend to finish my Aerotow sign off. Can anybody remind me of which direction the runway runs?

Anybody else heading that way?

Hi, Ashley-

I'm pretty sure the runway is roughly 290/110. ~Daniel

Runway's 30 and 12
(121 magnetic, 109 true / 301 magnetic, 289 true)
NW and SE

Uh yeah... hurricanes kinda make the weather forecasting a bit... well... difficult.

Saturday's looking windy/rainy so far. Sunday looks more like it has potential. It could suck too, but who knows.

Yup, a call ahead really helps. We can look at what the Fcast is and what it's actually doing and make a much better call. It doesn't hurt that Adam's a weather guru either ;)

Cheers
Jim
