Thermal Gaggle Rules and Techniques

Straight outta Performance Flying:

1.? Enter a gaggle exactly on a tangent with the same size circle.
2.? Space yourself out across a thermal by circling wide until you can join the tighter path.
3.? Bank the same as others but recognize that this is probably too wide.? If you catch a core safely do so with a tight turn inside the others.
4.? When gliders disappear from view maintain a steady bank and airspeed.? Keep a constant lookout for other gliders at all times.
