Steve Kinsley is normally your best bet for a weekday observer, although others might sneak away from work for a half day. Right now, Steve, I think, is in California, so you might be out of luck for today.
The best way to rope an observer is to call or e-mail directly the day before you want to fly. I'd be happy to send you a contact list for the local observers. If you don't have one, shoot me an e-mail and I'll forward it to you (or any other H2/P2 on this list).
