Highland flying today (Thursday)

Post by huddlec »

The stars aligned finally (temperature and Highland guys, actually) and I was able to take a test flight on my new LitespeedS 3.? I was waiting for Adam to take the first flight and at first it didn't look like he was going to get down from Philly in time (which is why I wore my 4 leaf clover underwear), but he drove up just as we were heading out to the launch area. He said it didn't have any turns so I was happy. I took it up and even found some lift for a little extendo. And a good landing. Had to adjust the hang point so I'd be a little higher (had to shorten the extensions we'd put on the hang loops) and also move the hang point forward so the bar at time wasn't an inch from stall.
It was weird to tow in the middle of January without getting the least bit cold.
