Geocaching Anyone?

For non-flying fun with pilots, friends, and family.
Ski trips, Ethiopean-nights, movies, biking, climbing... All that fun stuff you can't do in the sky.

Geocaching Anyone?

Post by charlieg »

My family is justing starting to get into the sport of Geocaching. For those not aware of it, you basically use a GPS to find locations that others have placed or hidden some sort of trinket. It's another excuse to get yourself and the rest of the family out into the wilderness and hike, and adds a neat and fun dimension to the activity.
This seems like it would be a great thing for my family and me to do at various flying sites while I'm out there flying.
Any thoughts or experiences to share?

You could also do nice resturants, stores, etc. in the area. Greencastle and McConnelsburg have several interesting places to investigate.

Sounds like you need to add the game by going XC! One stop before you give them the location of a place to buy beer.
