Hrm... almost posted this to the HG forum. Then I realized that it's a PG story. Wow, I've really crossed over to the dark side eh? *shiver*
Had the rare event of having a day off in the middle of excellent flying weather, so naturally I grabbed my PG and headed off to the LZ at Coronet. Checked with my instructor and got the green light to go fly... WOO HOO! One catch... no ride. The school wasn't running that day and all the other pilots had already shuttled up. OK... decision time... I could wait and hope to catch an other shuttle trip, or take my car up, fly and hope to catch a bodyride back up later. How bad ya wana fly? Bad enough to hike it if necessary (um.. 2-3k ft hikeup).
Hell yeah I drove up!
Damn the torpedos! It's blowing in straight and steady. Had a wicked good flight in light thermal conditions. God it felt good to thermal again!!!! Got lucky and caught a bodyride back up. Mucho Funo!

Not too many PG photos just yet and nothing inflight.
I am still quite the rookie (no distractions).
