Awesome pics! Are those the Staunings Alps? I used to drink a great Kiwi brew called Steinlager--any of that around (not that hang gliding and beer have anything to do with eachother)?

One range is called "The Remarkables"... I'll give you one guess as to why ;)
Not sure what the other is. There's litterally hundreds... that's all this part of the country is. It's pretty fantastic.

So, Jim, is this Antigravity place strictly a tandem operation or can
one rent a glider and fly solo? Would appreciate any info about
resources for visiting pilots in New Zealand as you encounter it
during your stay. Marvelous country isn't it? 6:1 sheep to human

It's strictly tandem, sorry. The footlaunch places may have gliders, I'll have to ask Kevin. My internet time is limited so it might be a bit before I can get back to ya.

Yes, I'm freezing my A%*(@#@# off. Got here way too early.
No biggie, it's supposed to switch soon.
