Training Hill at the Pulpit

Hey David O.,

If you are a little rusty on your foot-launch, make sure you bring your glider and head up to Kirchner's Knob training hill. It's only about 20 minutes from the Pulpit. Same goes for anyone else who wants to brush up on footwork or any Hang 1s or AT Hang 2s.

Matthew,

Thanks. I'm not planning on flying on Saturday (I need to get a lot of FL
and AT before I fly the mountains). Just wanted to hang out and enjoy
everyone's company. I'll be at Smithsburg when it opens this fall. :-)

I stopped by Kirshners on the way back from Hyner on 9/5 and the grass was medium height in some areas. I may try to teach there this weekend and will probably take the walk-behind bushhog.

John;

If you will be teaching there, let me know. I may try to get in some
training hill flights this weekend for a warmup to the pulpit outrageous
great soaring we will be having Sat afternoon....(always optimistic)
