Will the first one there please notify Mr. Mason.

Also we've had some people have to cancel at the last minute. If you haven't committed to making it out and you can please show up. I'll be there about 10:30

Thanks,
Dan

Edith's Gap LZ renovation is complete.
300'x700' field is now 100% cleaned out.
The Mason's (landowners) were out there helping us as well.
21 Club Volunteers came out. Another great collective effort. Thank You Everyone!!!

Ditto on the “great collective effort”! Here are some before, during and after photos - ending with a Google Earth preview of the LZ coming to your computer screen soon. After the first pic (the before Google Earth view), the next set of images is of one of the mounds being dismantled and the MVPs of the day. Ward

Great work party day!!! Huge success and a lot was accomplished!!!! It was awesome to see so many out there. Big thanks to Patrick Terry , who again, organized the efforts and secured the earth moving equipment!.

Looking forward to flying Ediths sometime soon!

Thanks to everyone who put in the effort to open this new site. One big issue with the old site was the long glide to an LZ. This will make this site much more user friendly. I have flown it twice but sledded each time. I am looking forward to soaring that ridge. Thank you.

I'm looking forward to seeing the HG community at this site now. If I was landing my U2 there I would use the approach that Brian Vant Hull used coming across the hill and then turning upslope if necessary. At at least 300 feet across with virtually unlimited space on an uphill turn if necessary it should be relatively easy to get a double surface glider in there now.

Incredible! CHGPA shows our flying community (USA) how to come together to get things done.

Thank you to all who put effort into getting this site reopened and cleaned up. Fantastic seeing the active participation of the land owners too!

Wow. Funny to say, but the best part is that I only recognize 1/3 of the faces from when I left 7 years ago. This points to a vibrant community that's not going to fade away. Great work!
