Oh my gawd....
Thanks for the pix!
Going to stop by sometime this weekend. Want to see it in person. Hard to believe!
Thanks to all, and especially Janni, for your hard work making this happen!

Re: Pulpit Launch: Revised Proposal
Thanks so much Shawn for helping me out on this. I'll miss you man.
We could use the ramps to build a new club house.

Jeryl just told me they seeded the torn up area as well, a token of their pleasure working with us. David H. Martin Exacavating, Inc. rules! Let's not forget these guys the next time we plan something like this. I already have ideas about a sneaky night job to clean up the WS launch, it's been an eye sore and a carbon fiber buster since I remember...

I like they way they thoughtfully used one path up the hill. A more slipshod operation would have driven all over at random, torn everything up. Very, very nice.
Janni: I suggest you go up there friday night to ensure you are the first one to fly off it. You've earned it.

I can't wait to stop by the Pulpit on the way to Hyner tomorrow evening. Janni, huge thanks for a great effort. Shawn, see you at Hyner!

letter of thanks to the contractor
I posted the following letter through the contractors website. I was wondering what you all might think of inviting him to be our guest of honor at the Pulpit Fly In?
--------------------------------------------------
A big thank you!
Sir, you don't know me, but I've been following the work you did for my hang gliding club at our Pulpit launch near McConnelsburg PA. You did a fantastic job, way above and beyond everyone's expectations. You have a hundred new references willing to give you a five star rating.
I don't know how much you know about our sport but I am sure we would roll out the red carpet should you choose to visit the site one day that you helped us create. We cannot thank you enough.
I can hardly wait to get back to the USA to try it out.
Thank you again,
Dan Tomlinson

Its hard to tell what kind of slope we are dealing with but nice job folks..Hope to test it out in the near future..Wish we could get rid of th boulders at the end but again it might be a mute point if the slope is steep enough,,,RH

Stopped by the Pulpit on the way to Hyner.
What an awesome new launch!!! Unless there is something funky with the new airflow, I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be our best launch.
Can't wait to fly it.
It was dead when it wasn't trickling in from over the back. Me and new P2, Stan, were really tempted to fly. Hey, we can do no-wind launches! And it would be soooo much fun to be the first ones off the launch! Eventually though, our better judgment set in and we decided to leave no-wind Pulpit launches for another day. Plus the honor of the first flight really belongs to Janni. Although, to be honest, if conditions had been perfect, that thought wouldn't have even registered...
Jim, you should take a look at it. I bet it's tandemable!
Great job Janni! And thanks also to Shawn!!!

Who says it wasn't tandemable before? Gary has a video somewhere...

Me
It doesn't matter if someone got away with something before. As Mark put it... in the right conditions... etc.
This new launch however looks very friendly.
