The initial forecast on Saturday for Sunday at Hagerstown from the Weather Channel was L & V. The Hagerstown valley was filled with fog until noon on Sunday. Half the day's sun energy was wasted evaporating the fog. That was why there was no wind in the Hagerstown valley/Smithsburg. Never doubt the Pulpit. It is the most soarable site we have. There is almost always wind there. I'm thinking it was paraglidable earlier in the day.

I thought the wind recordings from Hagerstown and Altoona were interesting. Hagerstown was calm all day but it was wnw @15 at Altoona most of the afternoon. Maybe the altitude had something to do with it. Congratulations on a great day.

And Mark, great self portrait!
