At last a good flying weekend?

Well the forecasters were quite wrong with the forecast for Fredericksburg (Taylors). Expected winds of SW never materialized it was most L&V but we were able to fly in the nice temps until around 4:00 when it started blowing more Easterly. Mostly no-wind takeoff or light cross from the SSE and only rarely coming in. Students got about 8 flights each but we had one close call with a tree being lightly touched and one mishap with a LE getting broken. Probably should have waited to teach on Sunday instead, but the forecast sounded decent!
