Twas a fine winter day at Woodstock. Gary, Bruce, Hank and I trecked in at noon. First off was Hank at 2:15 and I followed at 2:30. Gary and Bruce were last. Winds were a nice 8-10 with max of 16 straight in. Things dropped of as the afternoon progressed and one paraglider pilot flew just as we all landed. Karma kindly brought hot chocolate as we broke down and then we headed to the Italian place in Woodstock for dinner. Most everyone got at least 2,000 over with the max of 2900 for the day. I flew the Falcon with no issues of penetration.

Joe,
That was me. A nice afternoon, indeed. Wind were still fairly gusty at the launch when I took off just before 3 pm. But I had no penetration issues either above the ridge. Thermals were very smooth, and there were many of them above the valley.
Thanks for the ride on the back of the truck to the front gate.
