Fledge IIB

Post by Spark »

I called Greg and arranged to go over to pick up the wing on Saturday morning. Anyone interested in the harness and chute, take note: I can inspect and pick it up for you if you want.

inquiry

Spark;
Is the harness and chute still available? Would it be the right size for me? I don't know what a fledge is (is that the kind you were flying with the flaps on the keel?) Don't know if it is something I could fly, or if performance-wise it is a step up from my falcon.

Let me know the scoop please. I might be interested in the harness/chute, particularly the chute. Small, medium, or large? Thanks, Linda B.

Linda,

I am pretty sure you would not want to fly the Fledge IIB. It is an early rigid design with tip rudders. You don't weight shift it for roll, you use twist grips. Also, it is ancient and probably not safe to fly high without re-rigging.

I will find out about the chute/harness ang give you a call.
