High Rock

Post by hepcat1989 »

I heard on the radio that some guy drove his truck off of High Rock recently. He fell 60 feet and was rescued!
Anyone hear about this? The radio didn't go into much detail...

Notice the address? Are there two jugtown roads or is this guy from the Pulpit secondary? No skid marks...must've been going below 10 mph.

How did he get up the steps? And do you think the truck is still down there? Do you think it might be a good thermal trigger? ;-) Probably too much in the shade down there. Brian, yep, there's a Jugtown Road in Smithsburg (I googlemapped it). Hmm... the staff photographer contributed to the story, no pictures though. :-(

No Ellis , I don't think it is down there to use as a thermal trigger. Even if it was, I don't think I would want to hover over a bloody truck that someone tried to off them selves in it. Sounds like some lame assed scenery. What do you think?..................

There is a place to the right of the launch where you could get through the trees. Probably the drinking saved his butt - kept him relaxed for the impact.
