I agree that the GOP will retain both houses of Congress due in large part to conservative Christians substantially participating in the voting process. God bless these upstanding, salt-of-the-earth American citizens who want to save our great country from immoral, if-it-feels-good-do-it liberal theocracy.
And I further agree that much of the general public does not follow the news and current events as much as we do, and therefore do not vote in off-year elections, especially when things are going well economically ( 6.6 million new jobs, Stock Market at near record highs, gas prices down, and relatively low unemployment).
I have not lost any rights....can you name me anyone who has lost their rights, and which rights they have lost?
The Clintonistas always said, "It's the economy, Stupid". I don't hear too much Dem whining about a "jobless recovery" anymore, as they did in 2004.
So, I predict that the conservatives will once again be victorious in November as they are "more motivated" than Dems, who continue to offer no solutions or coherent agenda, other than higher taxes and bigger government. With the economy purring along, just hating Bush and hypocritically denouncing Foley will not win you guys any elections.....but I could be wrong We'll see.
