clarence turner is playing at bangkokblues on sat, nov. 25th
i've seen him at zoobar-open mike and not long ago he did a walk-on with a band at bangkok - he was all that And a bag of chips.
the following unsolicited testimonial (referring to the zoo bar) came from a harp player who I think can play with anyone:

"The highlight didn't come until the very last set.
Clarence Turner showed up. (Craig Gaylor showed up after a gig in Silver
Spring.) Craig brought his friend Sol, a guitarist.
Hugh Feely + Clarence Turner + Sol threw down a magical set.
One song , with Hugh on chromatic harp made the rest of us look like
chimpanzees with kazoos.
Clarence smoked , with Sol lighting matches - with excellent

or so, 'cause I was taking the metro. That 'Wagnerian' was
