First off. Thanks to Linda and anyone else who has volunteered to help out at the Fly-In. If you haven't yet volunteered, this is a good opportunity to do something for your club and not be a good for nothin' no good dirty scoundrel and bum!!!!
So how many teams have we got this year???? The Pulpit Fly-In is a team event and a chance to work with other pilots toward a common XC flying goal instead of just going it alone. I think the Falconeeros are fielding a team again. Don't know if those no good show-offs from Pittsburgh will be there this year. Are the Ridgely Regulars going to put together something this year??? And, unfortunately, it looks like the FiFis won't be flying. I'm trying to convince Karen, the only FiFi currently flying in the mountains, to join my team. We have a free spot because Sparky has moved to Colorado. Last year we were the FoFums. So if Karen joins, we could be FiFi and the FoFums?

It would be great if some of those who have participated in "real"
comps (sport class or otherwise) would act as team captains,
and try to impart some of their skills and wisdom to those of us who
are recreational XC types, or even never-done-an-XC types.
Our Fly-In can provide a great opportunity for true team XC flight,
something that we don't often do. So let's give it a try and get some
miles!!!

Pulpit
Hi guys, I hope to be at the fly-in Sat and Sun but have a party to be at on Sat night circa 9pm. Not sure if I can stay too long depending on where wer fly Saturday. I think Heather will be joining me on one of the days and can help out as well but I'm not volunteering her, just mentioning that she is able bodied. You didn't hear it from me... I am willing to help out in any way possible and hope to fly one or two days out there. Let me know what I can do. I"ll be calling Linda as well as she dropped me a note.
