Looks to be too breezy today for PGs today at Woodstock (at least for P2 me!) - so I think I'll try to get to Taylors early this afternoon for a bit. To save me a trip, if anyone knows why this would not be a good idea, please let me know.

Taylor's
Charlie,
I see no reason why Taylor's should not be good, even if a breezy SW. Would have considered joining you, PG play and maybe even brought my bonewing for some more tune-ups, for which Taylor's is great. But I'm packing, off at 5:00 PM for Egypt & Jordan for 3 weeks. Try me again in March.
Hope you had fun at DisneyWorld. Daniels last week was fun, cast of millions... blew a couple of launches but one good flight sustained awhile and , mainly, now I know the way there.
Keep plugging -- John Anderson

I plan to get there between 12:00 and 1:00 (earlier the better) and stay for about 2 hours.
John: Disney was great. I got my flying fix at the new "Soaring" exhibit/ride in EPCOT -- it simulates a Hang Glide ride around a bunch of places on the west coast. Not quite as good as the real thing, but the next best, perhaps. Reminded me of the TO FLY movie at the Smithsonian, except the seats move too.

Well, it turned out to be fairly windy and gusty to boot. Min wind was 8, but it gusted to 18 at its peak. So I got in some good practice trying to hold things down in the higher wind, and got in a couple of flights -- but I can't say this was a great day for it. But it was nice to get some practice in this stuff on a training hill so I'll never be temped to try it on a real hill! But in the end, any day flying ....
