Looks like another front is rolling through today (Sat) and there's snow on the horizon on the radar. The snow may not make it WS or HR. But it looks awfully prefrontal to me... with the big booming winds behind the front. Sunday looks much safer with WNW winds around ten all day. Anyone planning on going out today or tomorrow? Any other thoughts on the weather?

I agree with you conclusion that Sunday is a better candidate, Bacil and I
are planning on Woodstock Sunday, I'll check in early.

I was betting on tomorrow, though if I had nothing else to do I might take
chances on today. I've got else to do.

HR Sunday

Post by Matthew »

The last two times I went to the Pulpit this winter season with a light West forecast, it was blowing 30 most of the day. I'm leaning more toward HR later in the day if the sun ever comes out. Plus, I'm just lazy today and don't have the energy for the whole Pulpit thing.

I'm willing to give Pulpit a shot. Then maybe a caravan over to HR if
it's no good. ETA Pulpit, noon.
