I just returned from Manquin where I spent the day with Steve Wendt learning scooter tow operations. We used the system I recently retrieved from Arizona. Hugh drove down to join us and to get some PG practice.
The day was very productive and I learned much. Winds were E, and SE, but not the S as forecasted.
Hugh captured video using my camera. I started by towing Steve a few times, then he towed me on his Falcon, and then we we switched to PG.
Steve towed me on my PG a few times and then it was Hugh's turn. After Steve had towed Hugh a few times, I practiced towing him low, and then higher. We were getting a flight about every ten minutes in the afternoon.
I'm really looking forward to getting more experience at some of the fields in my area, and at the clinic next month.
