Saturdaytraining...?

Post by Richard Hays »

Ugh. I'm seeing WSW turning SW Saturday and mostly the same crud on Sunday.
Other than Taylor hill ( aint' driving there...to far ) I see this weekend
as a bust. Anybody see anything different? Smithsburg early maybe?
Arrrrrgh.

Got this wonderful group of guys that have been "baked" that past few
weekends weatherwise. Would love to get them out but...its' not looking
promising. Any input from the List-serve circus would be appreciated. :)

I'll be at Smithsburg early.

Frankly, I think scooter tow would be the way to go, early.

It was a great day for kiting. I spent about two hours at Smithsburg. Winds were WSW, then SW, then SSW. Hugh arrived and we left there and joined Bruce enroute to a very shallow S-facing hill where we kited and took small flights for a few more hours. I got popped up in a thermal and actually made a few soaring passes. James Coblenz joined us for awhile. By the time we left, winds had clocked around to S.

Thanks Mike! Blew off training today. Hoping it will go more SE Sunday
but..I doubt it. Might be sending Glen and Janni down to Taylors Hill to
keep em' happy and current. Not sure I'm bringing my Pa. guys down though.
To far for them to travel...especially on a Sunday.
