Kirshners' Knob

Post by Richard Hays »

Thinking about bringing some students up to Kirshners' Knob on Saturday.
Anything I need to know about the site.....like...is it still open, flyable,
etc.?

Otherwise.......Smithsburg and stubble issues.

Last time I drove by there in mid november it was nicely mowed thanks to the efforts of John. He had both slopes mowed, and given the cold weather the grass probably hasn't grown a whole lot.

Rich, park slightly in the field across from the red brick house (was Mrs. Kirshners). Also, beware of some ruts in the LZ and a few gopher holes on the main hill.
